Important information about Housing Anywhere, the international student housing platform

Dear student,

We are looking forward to welcoming you at our university next Fall.
Since finding accommodation in Pisa can be very challenging, we urge you to find a room before your arrival.
To help you in this matter, the University of Pisa has joined the International student housing platform (the network www.HousingAnywhere.com ). On this platform you can search for and book rooms offered by our outgoing students, as well as other rooms listed by verified private landlords in our city.
Booking a room on Housing Anywhere is 100% safe and scam-free thanks to a Secure Booking System: the first month’s rent is paid to Housing Anywhere and will be transferred to the advertiser 48 hours after you move in, and only if the room corresponds exactly to what you agreed to book. Otherwise, you will be eligible for a full refund. This way you can easily book a room in Pisa months before your arrival. Housing Anywhere charges a small administrative fee for this service (25% of the rent of the first month).
To make it as easy as possible for you to find your new home abroad, Housing Anywhere will create your personal profile on the platform in which:

1. You will be verified as an incoming student of the University of Pisa, which will give you priority access to the new rooms that become available on the platform.
2. You will receive real-time notifications about new rooms listed on the platform in Pisa, so you can easily find a good place to stay.
3. You can always adjust these notifications in line with your preferences in terms of price, location, type of room, etc, or opt out of this service at any time.

We recommend that you make use of the service we have set up for you. If however you DO NOT want to be contacted by Housing Anywhere, please send an e-mail to Francesca francesca@housinganywhere.com within one week of having received this e-mail.

Bear in mind that you can unsubscribe from the service at any time.
Best regards and see you soon in Pisa!
